Spectrum Translation is a translation and localization agency based in the Netherlands which takes full advantage of the company's central location in serving clients in Europe, North America and Asia.
For the majority of projects, we use a two-step process of translation and proofreading, with two linguists involved. The second linguist will check and fine tune the work of the first, ensuring that the terminology is correct and the most appropriate for your project.
Only native speakers are used for projects, and, if possible, only linguists who reside in the target country (the land where the translation will ultimately be used). If a translation is for the web or for a worldwide audience, the language chosen will be as international and neutral as possible so that all speakers of that language can access it.
If you have any specific needs for a project, including any CAT tool (translation memory) requirements, extra translators for reduced delivery time on large-volume projects or a so-called 'in-country' check of a translation, feel free to contact us for more information.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site.
TESTIMONIAL
Working for Spectrum has been an extremely positive experience for me as a freelancer. The company's very demanding proofreading and editing procedures force you to evolve and develop your skills all the time. Projects are tightly managed, always with a colleague to read and check your work or you having to work on a colleague's translation. As a result, I think the teams manage to produce very accurate texts, often after rather uncompromising discussions of terms or expressions. In the end, everyone benefits from this exactness.
